Title: Temporary Private Duty/Home Health Care Nurse
Job Description -
Private duty - LPN needed for home health care in an elaborate setting to care for an individual with a neurological injury.
Under a physician's direction a multifaceted treatment plan is provided on a daily basis.
This plan provides for the patient's physical and emotional needs and offers optimum support for the patient and family.
This multi-disciplinary approach is coordinated by the patient's Home Health Care Registered Nurse.
The RN coordinates a team of skilled, caring professionals as they provide the health care and services the patient require.
Lots of autonomy... This position reports directly to the patient's Home Health Care Registered
Nurse, and the patient family...a very well-liked, well-respected family.
We are looking for someone who understands detail and sensitivity!
Salary is negotiable and commensurate with
experience.

Shifts Available:
- 7PM - 7AM (on a 3/4 schedule- work 3 days
first week & 4 days 2nd week, and continue the rotation...)
- Various PRN shifts (need a 7 p.m. to 7
a.m. fill-in on Feb. 11-12 and on June 1-2)
Requirement /Duties -
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school
of nursing with valid Texas nursing license
- Computer skills are highly desirable
- Ability to assist patient in transfers
from chairs/gurneys to table as required
- Professional and autonomous
- Provide home care within the parameters
of the state Nurse Practice Act.
