 PSYCHIATRIC REGISTERED NURSE
 Job Description:
 Under the supervision of the Nursing Administrator the Psychiatric Registered
 Nurse is responsible and accountable for prescribing, implementing, and
 evaluating the nursing care delivered within his/her shift, and for
 utilizing the nursing process to provide assessment, treatment planning and
 evaluation of resident care within designated clinical areas. S/he is responsible
 for meeting all regulatory documentation standards. S/he participates in
 the multidisciplinary team, QA and UR activities. S/he acts as a clinical
 role model and provides nursing consultation to staff within the assigned
 areas of responsibility.
 
 Primary Responsibilities:
 Responsible for quality care on assigned shift
 Collaborate with Psychiatrist to ensure quality of medication
 administration
 Meet all regulatory and facility documentation standards
 Provide culturally competent standards
 Foster professional development of staff
 
 
 Job Requirements:
 BSN or BA
 CPR-BLS
 Valid California RN License
 Good communication, organization and leadership skills

Make site visits and must be able to travel overnight
