JOB DESCRIPTION: 



Job Requirements:  

Must have current California RN license. Requires Associate
degree in nursing with three years of clinical or research nursing experience
or a Bachelors degree in nursing with two years of clinical or research 
or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least one year of work experience must be in pediatrics. 
Must be able to perform phlebotomy (pediatric phlebotomy experience preferred but will train). 
Computer literate. Excellent verbal and written English communication skill required.
 
 Description of Duties:

 · Clinical Research Nurse for vaccine studies, pediatric clinics in Fontana/Riverside Medical Centers
 · Determine subject eligibility for study. Obtain informed consent
 · Administer study vaccines. Obtain blood samples
 · Collect post-vaccination safety data. Make follow-up phone calls
 · Enter study data collected into computer database
 · Provide education about vaccines and studies to Kaiser staff, parents.
 · Perform other duties as may be assigned
