JOB DESCRIPTION: 
Responsible for the day to day operations of the Maternal
Child Health units to include L&D, Level ll Nursery and Family Birth Unit.
Shares responsibility for the unit on a 24-hour basis with the Director.
Leadership responsibility of designated clinical areas. Functions as a
resource. Accountable for standards of patient care and practice in
multi-disciplinary care settings. Supervises, coordinates, evaluates and
improves the delivery and quality of patient care. Participates in the
budgetary process and maintains fiscal accountability.


Preferred Qualifications  At least 2 years of previous of supervisory or lead
nurse experience. Current NRP certification required. Responsibilities for
Labor and Delivery, Level II Nursery and Family Birth Unit. Prefer clinical
experience in multiple areas, but only required experience in only one.
