Specialty Hospital of Southern California is seeking a Nurse Manager.
The Nurse Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the
Nursing Unit.  Reporting directly to the AACO, the Nurse Manager also works
with all other Clinical Managers in order to maximize the efficiency of
patient care services.   The Nurse Manager will need to be familiar with all
of the Policies and Procedures being utilized and should be thoroughly versed
about the organization and delivery of all Hospital services.  

While patient care is a major focus, responsibilities for assisting the AACO in identifying
and developing staffing solutions as well as monitoring the department's
financial goals and objectives are also vital. 
Must be flexible to staffing needs on the off hours.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor,s of Science in nursing
• Minimum of three years administrative experience, preferably in a Nurse Manager role
• Current CA RN license
• Current ACLS
• Critical care experience preferred
• Must be well versed in Title 22 and JCAHO standards
• Must have strong counseling and coaching experience.
• Prior budget and fiscal management experience as well as experience dealing with HR issues
• Excellent knowledge of staffing, registry contracts and labor usage experience
