JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for direction of patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Manages staff members in the CCL and Recovery Room.
Consults with staff, Physicians, Director, and Director of Nursing on
nursing issues and interpretation of facility policies to ensure patient needs
are met. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department
and participates in the CQI activities.
Formulates the budget for the department.
Will also meet with manufacturers/vendors.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current registered nurse in the state of Missouri preferred.
RCIS preferred. Current BCLS and ACLS certification.
Minimum two years of nursing management experience.
Minimum of two years of experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Basic computer knowledge.
Proficient in EKG and hemodynamic pressure tracings.
Operates different equipment: x-ray table, camera, video recorder, pressure injectors,
ultrasound machines. Would consider RT ® with management experience.
