JOB DESCRIPTION: 
 Atlantic Canada,s largest academic health care organization, 
 the Capital District Health Authority, is recruiting for Operating Room -
 Registered Nurses (5 positions).
 
 To be considered for these positions, you are a graduate of an accredited
 school of nursing and eligible for registration in the province of Nova
 Scotia. Ideally, you have recent operating room experience and/or completion
 of a Post-Graduate Operating Room Course. Operating Room Certification is an
 asset. CPR certification is required. You have effective communication skills
 and are able to work in a high stress environment.
 
 Reporting to the Health Services Manager, the Registered Nurse is a health
 professional who, through the nursing process and therapeutic relationship,
 assists clients and families to attain/maintain an optimal health status. As
 the successful Registered Nurse you will also be responsible for the overall
 planning and delivery of nursing care. These are permanent full-time
 positions. The deadline for receipt of applications is September 5, 2003.
