JOB DESCRIPTION:
Leading provider of services to the national Hospice marketplace
is in search of several Account Managers to join their growing Montgomery, Alabama
based organization.
Account Manager will be responsible for managing relationships
and implementing services for hospice clients throughout the United States.
Responsibilities include working with clients to understand their objectives
and make sure the Company meets those objectives.
The Account managers will have to become familiar with all aspects
of the Company's operation and will be required to problem solve ,
monitor clients, and pro-actively work with clients.
Most communication with clients will be over the telephone building
and managing relationships, however, the position will require travel
approximately 5 to 7 days each month.
- Must have knowledge/experience
in the Hospice world.

Licensed Vocational Nurse II

Job Requirements: Current CA LVN license. Bachelor's degree from an
accredited college. Must have one-year experience or 2-3 years previous acute
medical-surgical clinical experience preferred. Research experience helpful.
Current IV therapy, phlebotomy and CPR certificate. PC capability with
knowledge of standard software required. Excellent verbal and written English
communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
Description of Duties:
- Provide Specified direct
care to human subjects:
- Measure and record vital
signs
- Record bedside care procedures,
treatments, indications and nourishment
provided and output
- Observe and report progress
of subjects
- Obtain and provide information
on subjects with nursing personnel and in
contacts with physicians
- Perform IV therapy, insertion
and maintenance (IV pump)
- Assist RNs with research
procedures (OGTT, IVGTT, Stim test, timed
phlebotomy), specimen collection and processing
- Assist RN with subject
admission and development of subject care plan and
teaching needs, and complete subject discharge procedures
- Point-of-care testing:
- Perform urinalysis (dip
stick)
- Urine pregnancy test
- Blood glucose (e.g., Pro
sure Flexx glucose meter)
- Receive phone calls on
abnormal or critical laboratory values, recording and
reporting results to nursing personnel or physical
- General receptionist and
clerical duties
Set-up, operate and monitor equipment:
- Cardio scopes, oxygen
therapy, suctioning equipment, intravenous apparatus,
vital sign machines, ECG, glucometer
- SCDs, pulse ox, centrifuge,
uroflow, may perform peritoneal dialysis, add
dialysate solution without medications, introduce and drain solution
in
accordance with precise procedures and physician's orders
