JOB DESCRIPTION:
Childkind's medical intake coordinator serves as our primary
contact point for state agencies and hospitals referring medically fragile
foster children to our agency.

The position entails assessing the needs of children, evaluating their
placement needs, evaluating potential foster or adoptive families,
communicating complex medical terminology to families and assisting with the
training in medical technology.

This is an exciting position with significant contact with children and
families and is a key position with Childkind.


RN preferred but will consider an LPN with experience.  Also, social service
experience helpful.  Ability to communicate medical terminology with foster,
adoptive and biological families.  Clean driving record and a team spirit.
